KookaGEO ("we", "us") is an AI visibility scanning service operated from Queensland, Australia. This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect and what we do with it.
The website URL you submit. When you run a scan, we fetch the publicly available content of that URL (the page, its robots.txt and llms.txt) to analyse it. The analysis runs in your browser and on our infrastructure; we do not build a stored database of scanned sites.
Your email address — only if you give it to us. If you request your score by email, we use your address to send that score email, and a copy of that email (including your address) is delivered to our inbox so we can follow up. If you email us directly, we keep the correspondence.
Mailing list details — only if you tick the box. Our email list is entirely separate from the results email above. You only join it if you deliberately tick the opt-in box; asking us to email your scan results never adds you. When you do opt in we record your email address, the date and time, your IP address and country, and the exact wording you agreed to, so we can demonstrate that consent was given. You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us.
Payment information — we never see it. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We receive confirmation of the payment and the email address you provide at checkout.
Basic technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect standard, aggregated traffic analytics. We do not run advertising trackers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing email you haven't asked for, and we never add you to the mailing list just because you requested your scan results.
Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we action it immediately. You can also email hello@kookageo.com and ask to be removed. Unsubscribing from the list does not affect emails about scans or purchases you have actually requested.
Cloudflare (hosting and infrastructure), Stripe (payments), Resend (sending emails and managing the mailing list, including unsubscribes), and Anthropic (the AI model used for the optional AI visibility probe — page text and business details from the scanned site are sent to it for analysis). Each has its own privacy policy.
We keep emails and order records only as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us at any time to see or delete the personal information we hold about you — email hello@kookageo.com and we'll action it.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
